Frequently asked questions
What is the return policy?
All Sales Are Final
At Mahj Box, each box is thoughtfully curated to bring something special to your mahjong table and gatherings. Because our boxes are curated, packaged, and shipped as a complete experience, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds on individual boxes or subscription purchases.
In exceptional circumstances, Mahj Box may, at its sole discretion, make an exception to this policy. Any exception will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and does not establish an obligation to offer similar accommodations in the future.
Annual Subscription Cancellations & Refunds
Our annual subscription is offered at a discounted price of $360 for four seasonal boxes, compared with the $99 price of a single box. This discounted rate reflects a commitment to the full annual subscription.
If Mahj Box approves an exception to our no-refund policy for an annual subscription, any refund will be calculated by subtracting $99 for each box already received from the original $360 annual payment. For example, if you have received two boxes, $198 will be deducted from your annual payment, leaving a maximum potential refund of $162.
This calculation ensures that boxes already received are charged at the standard one-time purchase price rather than the discounted annual subscription rate. Refunds, when approved, will not exceed the remaining balance after these deductions.
By purchasing a Mahj Box subscription, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is currently included at no additional cost with every Mahj Box order. We reserve the right to select the shipping carrier and method we determine is best for each shipment, including USPS, UPS, or FedEx. The carrier and shipping method may vary from box to box.
